The Foundation
The Cornelia Health Foundation is dedicated to fostering a healthier society through comprehensive initiatives aimed at enhancing health, wellness, and longevity, particularly among youth and women. Our efforts focus on critical areas such as vaccination, which serves as the primary defense against vaccine-preventable diseases. We actively campaign against teenage pregnancy and advocate for lifelong learning to empower the youth.
In addition to these initiatives, the Foundation plays a pivotal role in raising awareness and promoting programs that aim to reduce the incidence of cervical and breast cancer. We recognize the importance of educating the public about significant health issues, particularly those related to maternal mortality, obesity, and chronic diseases, ensuring that individuals are informed about their health risks and the steps they can take to mitigate them.
While our primary efforts are concentrated in Namibia, we are steadfast in our commitment to disseminate our knowledge and experiences globally. The Foundation aims to expand its outreach, thereby enhancing health outcomes in other countries and regions. Through collaboration and education, we strive to build healthier communities for all.
Charity Work
In the case that there are any excess funds generated from donations or workshops, Dr. Cornelia takes careful measures to ensure that those surplus funds are utilised effectively to further her mission. This mission focuses on providing essential hygiene kits that include sanitary pads, soap, toothpaste, lotion, and various other necessary items, aimed at supporting young girls and women across the entire country.
